The Coffee Club – Brisbane International Airport (Departures)

Refurbishment works at The Coffee Club – Brisbane International Airport (Departures) were carried out as part of the ongoing renovation works being undertaken across the entire Brisbane International Airport.

The scope of works gave the store a much needed facelift and upgrade to suit the new look airport layout.  Working within secure airspace at the International Airport offered it’s own set of challenges with strict controls over the movement of goods, workers and tools in and around the airport.

Joinery included the re-cladding of existing joinery to be in line with the latest Coffee Club design specifications as well as installing new high bars, charge bars (fitted with data and power for mobile devices), menu units and new banquette seating.  New aluminium cage shelving increased storage and display space, while a new coffee prep bench gave patrons space away from the main point of sale to add the finishing touches to their beverages and collect utensils.

The existing ice machine and milk fridge were relocated and a new under bench dishwasher installed and new stainless microwave bench to allow for an additional microwave without losing bench space.  New floor and wall tiles were laid along with new carpet tiles to the dining area.  The existing tables received new tops on the old bases with new chairs throughout.  The lighting included new pendant fittings, wall lights and existing down lights were replaced with new LED down lights for a more efficient footprint.

Finally a new coat of paint was applied and a final clean completed the project.
